What does the size of the dot/small circles indicate in the cladograms?

I am trying to understand what the size of the dots indicates. Is it the average abundance of a feature across all groups being compared? I apologize if this is posted elsewhere or before, I couldn’t find anything.

Cheers

Hi Scott,
Thanks for your question. You’re correct that it is scaled to overall abundance in the clade, regardless of comparison group.

Meg

Thanks for the reply!

Does the small dot in the middle indicate a scale of 1%?

Not that I know of, I think it is simply to show the center point of the cladogram.

Meg
