Lefse package in R

Hello. I am trying to do some wilcoxon rank sum test using Lefse. There seems to be a package in R called lefse. Is it the same package as the program developed by you? or is this something different? I only have two groups in the metadata I am using for this.The code line I am is this.
lefse_res ← run_lefse(rarefied_table, metadata$Group, wilcox_res)

Hi @zz101,

We do not maintain the R library for LEfSe. Our tool in R for DA analysis is called MaAsLin 2 and is under active maintenance by the group. LEfSe was written in python and we no longer actively maintain/update that script.
