Graphphlan label

Is there some way to assign a label to an outer ring? I know I can assign labels to the taxonomic data with internal_label and another question is there a way to include labels for every leaf? I was able to include them[0] but you can’t read them because of their orientation

[0]

By now I was able to achieve this [1]

But now the labels are quite far away from the end of the tree leaves?

Hi there,
Thanks for your interests here. There is ring_options that can be seen as “circular heatmaps”, “circular barplots”, and actually more (like indicator elements). The GraPhlAn GitHub (https://github.com/biobakery/graphlan ) page provides information on all of the ways in which you can annotate your tree (e.g. you can change the colour of leaves, you can add rings, etc.).

Dear GraPhlAn Experts,

As a beginner in the field, I am trying to understand the taxonomic classification of phyla in this phylogenetic tree. AFAIK, each color represents one phyla. However, I get confused with the insertion of pink with two of the yellow lines. Can anyone please explain what this represents? This is not explained in the paper.

It is taken from a recent publication.
