Can I use LEfSe for biomarker discovery in microRNA NGS (smallRNAseq) sequencing?
It has been discussed that these data have a normal distribution.
I would be thankful if you could comment here.

Technically yes, LEfSe will accept the data, but we haven’t validated anything like that. Also, there are better tests since the data are more nicely distributed than most microbiome measurements.
