I’d be interested to know what’s going on with the new version of humann2, do you have any exciting news about V2.9.0 VERSION?
We have settled on an updated algorithm for building a new ChocoPhlAn database and are currently engaged in evaluations of a v2.9.0 ChocoPhlAn on a variety of synthetic human- and non-human-associated metagenomes. Once we are satisfied with those results we will make the new database available and the associated HUMAnN2 version will become the default download.
