Hi there,

I was wondering about the viromics data included in the HMP2. Based on the available protocol, it is unclear to me if the resulting sequences would contain RNA or a mix of RNA and DNA viruses ? I know the MagMAX kit extracts both RNA and DNA, but it is unclear to me whether the downstream amplification steps simply enrich RNA and not DNA.
