Dear officer,
I have a question regarding the use of MinPath in HUMAnN 3.9. If I disable MinPath when running HUMAnN, will it increase the broadness while reducing the accuracy of the calculated pathway abundance? Furthermore, is it acceptable to disable MinPath when conducting exploratory studies that prioritise broader pathway identification over the accuracy of pathway abundance?
For context, when I ran HUMAnN, I used the ChocoPhlAn database (version: v201901b) and the full UniRef90 database (version: v201901_v31).
Best wishes,
Shuyuan
