Lefse or Deseq analysis?

Recently, i was told that lefse analysis is been replaced for Deseq analysis. i didnt found some reference about this and several publication still use lefse analysis.

My question is, ¿Deseq is better thant lefse? , or each one give diferent information?

I personally would not use either LEfSe or DESeq2 for microbiome differential abundance analysis. Please see this publication for more information.
