Can Metaphlan4 annotate Asgard archaea?

Dear author,
Asgard is considered the key to exploring the origin of eukaryotes. But I noticed that the complete list of species included in the latest database does not include Asgard archaea. Why is this?
Thank you for any help!

Hi @junglenone
Most of the genomes from the Asgard archaea are definied by metagenomic-assembled genomes. While it is possible we have the SGBs expanding those in the database, we only use taxonomic information from isolate sequences, so those SGBs are probably uSGBs with an unknown taxonomy
