Hi,
I have used Maaslin2 for a few months without problems, but recently I came back to the analysis I run before and every time I open the Maaslin tab on R studio it freezes and I have to force quit it.
I have tried to remove the Maaslin package, and upload it again, but it’s not working.
Any suggestion of how to solve the problem?

Hello, thank you for getting back to me! I have attached a screenshot, what I mean by tab is the R script with the code relative to Maaslin2 analysis, as soon as I click on it (or open it if it wasn’t already open) R studio freezes. This is a new thing, as I mentioned I was working on it daily a couple of months ago with no issues!
Got it, and does this happen even when MaAsLin isn’t currently running? I’m wondering if that file actually has a bunch of images embedded in it that’s causing the system to freeze when opening it. If you start a new file and run some MaAsLin commands, does that tab freeze too and if so what line causes it to freeze when run? I can’t think of a reason why simply navigating to the tab while having MaAsLin installed would freeze things.
