MaAsLin2 uses linear regression modeling to fit the microbiome variables to various metadata. However, in our data is appears that a quadratic model might be a better fit. Is it possible to run a quadratic regression model using this package?
Hi @tylerham11 - if you are able to create a metadata matrix consisting of your desired quadratic terms in the columns, you should be able to run MaAsLin 2 with the current codebase.
