# Metaphlan not working when downloaded as bio-bakery image from Google Cloud

When i try to run metaphlan command on my VM on google cloud it runs but nothing happens. When i quit the command, i get the following error.  
Apparently, it is trying to download a new version of the database from [dropbopx.com/](http://dropbopx.com/)…  
Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Unfortunately, the Dropbox download has been deprecated and will make older versions of the code fail while downloading. You can get the database from the following link: [Index of /biobakery3/metaphlan\_databases](http://cmprod1.cibio.unitn.it/biobakery3/metaphlan_databases/)

As I answer you in the previous message, the Dropbox download has been deprecated and will make older versions of the code failing while downloading. I would suggest you to updgrade your metaphlan 3 code version to the latest available (3.0.14) or to manually download the database from the following link [Index of /biobakery3/metaphlan\_databases](http://cmprod1.cibio.unitn.it/biobakery3/metaphlan_databases/)
