# Has the human3 database been updated?

At present, the database version is v201901. Do you have a new version of the database

Unfortunately no: bioBakery 3 was based on that version of UniProt and we haven’t done a systematic update on it. We are working on a bioBakery 4 update based on v202501 for release later this year.
