# Adapters options

Dear Developers,

May I ask a question about the TruSeq3 adapter from KneadData? There are one pair adapters in the fasta once installed, i.e., PrefixPE/1 and PrefixPE/2, however, I found more adapters from [Trimmomatic adapters available — BacterialTyper 0.6.5 documentation](https://bacterialtyper.readthedocs.io/en/latest/data/trimmomatic_adapters.html), which contains TruSeq3-PE-2 that includes TruSeq3-PE, and additionally include PE1\_rc and PE2\_rc. May I ask why TruSeq3-PE is included in KneadData, not TruSeq3-PE-2?
