# Absolute abundance from Metaphlan4

Hello, I just wanted to confirm something. When you run metaphlan with **-t rel\_ab\_w\_read\_stats** , the column **estimated\_number\_of\_reads\_from\_the\_clade** is technically the absolute abundance, but is it also technically in **Reads per Kilobase**?
